In efforts to help raise funds for the Honor Flight, Central Wisconsin Aviation, Inc., in collaboration with the Central Wisconsin Airport, has held the Warbird Rendezvous at CWA. Held during the week of EAA’s AirVenture, this free event is a fly-in and doesn’t have blocked show times. Raffles are held to help raise funds for the veterans, and event merchandise is also available for purchase.
In the future, both CWA and the airport plan to continue efforts to grow the fly-in and increase their support. However, the event name will be changing as it will no longer be exclusive to warbirds. ALL aviators are welcomed to partake in the event.
